Nice couple! Mixed couples are the best. We are a mixed couple too! My gorgeous husband is Scottish/Irish. People think we are also a beautiful couple. Oh, and BTW…I know what these couples have faced on here because I, my brother, my uncle, cousin, dad, mother, niece, nephew, grandmother, grandfather, daughter, son….we face it every day. Every single day one of us faces the ignorance of the world. Example…a group of friends and myself went to St. Louis and as we were walking to the restaurant to go and eat, a group of caucasian males in the parking lot across the street proceeded to call us a bunch of filthy niggers, porch monkeys, coons, nigger lovers, wetbacks, spics and on and on. So don’t tell me about going through. Every day I have to make sure my kids know that they are beautiful no matter what anyone says. I have to hold them while they are crying because some stupid parent has taught their children that it is o.k. to call another child a stupid nigger or nigger lovers. And what do I teach my babies??? I teach them that there are bad people all over the world, every where you go. But no matter what, remember who you are and never stoop to their level. Be proud of your heritage….every last one of them. I am beyond proud of every last race of people in my beautifully mixed family. And I will say it again…it is beautiful yet sad that a website like this in this day and age is even necessary. Love should never be about race…it should simply be about love.

Awesome. Yet another outrageously unnecessary and offensive comment. So one minute you post how “in this day in age, websites like this aren’t needed, race is only an issue when it’s addressed like on this website,” and now you’re saying that “it’s a shame that the website is needed,” because you admit that prejudice not only DOES in fact exist, but you’ve experienced it yourself? Give me a break! You define contradictory. The only thing your comment proved is that you’re an even bigger racist that you initially let on. Go show off your knowledge of all things racial slur somewhere else. Smh, pathetic.
P.S. If you’re so “race shouldn’t matter, etc.” why all the nasty comments on other profiles about how the posters’ look and their ethnic backgrounds? Seriously, just give it a rest. You’re not fooling anyone honey 🙂

jazzy B , i understand what your saying. we should just focus more on the kind of people we are instead of making an issue about the color of someones skin or their look. but this site actually supports and proves that there ARE people who are in true love and not seeing color lines. their not showing each others races off. we’re all sharing in our common non discriminatory appreciation for people, and it’s good to know there are more people like that here. it proves the stereo types wrong and proves that true love is unconditional and doesn’t know race or color lines.

OMG…thank you so much. That’s all I was trying to say. I just feel that there should be no need for this kind of website. Love should never have to be about color and no one should ever have to defend why they love who they love. However, this website, on the flip side, is very necessary as I hope it broadens the minds of those who race is an issue. I was not saying any thing mean or nasty. O.K…..I am biracial. I am African American and Puerta Rican on my dads side and Italian and Irish on my moms side. I have dated every race on the planet it seems. And here is what I learned. Race is only an issue when we make it an issue intentionally or otherwise. Why do people feel the need to say…”hey…look at me world…look I am dating outside my race!!!” To me, I don’t see race….I see a good man. And when one continually announces their dating out of their race…to me it is like a hidden sort of racism. Like saying…look how cool I am…I am dating a black guy, or a white guy or what ever the race may be. How about simply…I met the most amazing man!!! Or, I am in love with the most amazing woman!!! Not…omg…I met the cutest white guy etc., Race will stop being an issue when we stop pointing out and giving support to the issue. Date someone because they treat you amazingly….and make that the issue that gets pointed out. How they love you, how they treat you, how they make you feel, how they spoil you…who care’s what race they are?!?!
