We have not had any issues from others about our relationship most of our closest friends are from diffrent ethnic backgrounds. How have people reacted to your relationship: We live in a pretty racist state and we are constantly getting stares and looks, especially when we are out with our children ( I have 3 from a previous marriage and he has 2 children from his previous marriage). We understand that our relationship is different,but the stares are not going to change the love we have for one another.

How have people reacted to your relationship: Living in California, it’s fine but visiting the South where he is originally from- Not so much. Unfortunately prejudice on both sides of the fence still exists.
